commissioning of facilities for receiving waste from the operation of ships and cargo residues, facilities for prevention and response to operational and emergency pollution (FPROEP), as well as development and implementation of an integrated information platform (IPI) for management and ensuring safety with a view to optimizing and developing the information service of sea and river transport.<br \/>The quality implementation of the investment project will bring Bulgarian ports in line with the requirements of the European Union in the field of environmental protection, arising from European policies and directives, as well as international conventions and standards in the field of water transport.<\/p><p><strong>Main Objectives:<\/strong><br \/>1. Improving transport management through the introduction of innovative systems;<br \/>2. Promoting sustainable transport and eliminating areas with insufficient capacity in key network infrastructures.<br \/>Specific Objectives:<br \/>1. Improvement and management of the environment in the field of water transport and reduction of the harmful impact on the environment through the commissioning of port reception facilities (PSP) and implementation of FPROEP;<br \/>2.
