Today, June 5, 2015, the Evaluation Committee for public procurement with subject Design and engineering at site \u201dModernization of building of warehouse 1 of Terminal East-1 at port of Burgas”, selected for contractor the consortium DZZD Magazia Engineering. Contracting authority of the public procurement is Branch \u2013 Territorial Directorate Burgas to Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company \/BPI Co.\/ The winner consortium received 87, 20 points after applying the assessment methodology specified in the public procurement. DZZD Magazia engineering involving GP Group Ltd. and Partners \u2013 At Ltd. offered price for procurement implementation of 3 799 915,74BGN.<\/p>\n\n
Documents for participation in the public procurement submitted seven companies and consortia, but only 3 of them were admitted to the final stage \u2013 consideration of price offers. The remaining candidates ranked second place with 72 points Strabag-Gebuplan, Warehouse1 port of Burgas with price offer of 3 722 417,31BGN, and third place with 70, 59 points DZZD maritime zone with price offer 3 884 200BGN. <\/p>\n\n
The Project Modernization of building of warehouse 1 of Terminal East-1 at port of Burgas is part of the Annual Program 2015 of the Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company \/BPI Co\/. The project is financed with own funds of BPI Co. <\/p>\n\n
The site of the procurement implementation is the mainland of the port of Burgas \u2013 East in the area of the old quay wall, next to the third and forth birth. The winner consortium assignment includes preparation of technical design under approved terms of reference and implementation of the project planned construction works for building modernization. Preliminary studies will be drawn up at the discretion of the designer; investment project in the technical design, supervision during construction and production of workpieces, supply of materials, equipment, machinery and equipment required for the site commissioning. Besides the construction work will be carried out also 72-hour tests of the building. Execution deadline on the order of assignment is 480 days. <\/p>\n\n
According to Ivaylo Ivanov, Director of Branch Burgas \u2013 Territorial Directorate of the BPI Co. the modernization of Warehouse 1 can be executed within one calendar year if no decision appealing procedures on contractor selection exist.
