A real Magellan!\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Miryana Basheva<\/p>\n<p>Feeling happy, and enjoying\u00a0unforgettable summer emotions and\u00a0an exciting sea trip in the Varna\u00a0Bay, the children of Varna\u00a0celebrated the International Day of\u00a0the Seafarer on June 25, 2023.\u00a0Little sailors learned curious facts about the\u00a0mariner\u2019s profession, and Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company\u00a0(BPI Co.) joined the celebrations\u00a0for yet another year, and made the\u00a0kids even happier by giving them\u00a0amusing presents.<\/p>\n<p>At the shore, the official\u00a0celebration of the Day of the\u00a0Seafarer continued with a concert\u00a0in the Radio Varna Art Hall, in\u00a0the presence of sailors and their\u00a0friends and relatives, people from\u00a0Varna and guests of the city, who\u00a0felt close to the sea. The\u00a0celebration was organized by the\u00a0Initiative Committee for\u00a0Celebrating the International Day\u00a0of the Seafarer \u2013 the Varna\u00a0Municipality, the Sailers Trade\u00a0Union and the Bulgarian\u00a0Association of Sea Captains.<\/p>\n<p>The International Day of the\u00a0Seafarer was established by the\u00a0International Marine Organization\u00a0in order to emphasize the global\u00a0importance of the sailors\u2019\u00a0profession. Every year, on 25 June\u00a0various events are organized\u00a0worldwide, intended to increase\u00a0the public awareness of the\u00a0enormous contribution of the\u00a0seafarers to world economy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201eAnd the sailor wants to be a captain, a brave sea captain.
