Apart from the fact that the title has not been presented in Bulgaria for the last 80 years, it is interesting that the spectacle is placed in real conditions \u2013 on a barge in a river, as the opera action developed on a barge along the Seine. <\/p>\n\n<p>Two more iconic cultural and historical landmarks in Vidin have become the scene of the summer festival \u2013 the Baba Vida Fortress and the Bdintsi Square, where the children\u2019s opera \u201cShegovichko on the Wonderland Island\u201d, \u201cThe Swan Lake\u201d of Tchaikovsky and \u201cZorba The Greek\u201d.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Festival is organized for the first time in Vidin, but the intention of the Municipality is to become a traditional event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Giacomo Puccini\u2019s \u201cIl tabarro\u201d Opera was played under an open sky on a barge in the Danube, and the audience applauded the artists from the Sofia Opera and Ballet from the Quay Wall, where were built stands with 700 seats with the assistance of Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company.
