From June 1, 2014, the State Enterprise “Port Infrastructure” /SEIS/ is conducting an internship program aimed at capable and motivated students in various fields of study.
Selected candidates will be provided with the opportunity for an unpaid or paid internship, during which they will be able to acquire valuable practical experience. Those approved will be able to familiarize themselves with the specific processes of management and development of port activities and infrastructure, as well as with other areas of the enterprise’s activities.
The management team of SEIS welcomes applications from prepared, energetic, and proactive young professionals. An important quality that they need to possess is to value loyalty and trust, as well as to be motivated for dynamic and innovative work in order to conduct a practical internship at SE “Port Infrastructure”.
Admission conditions
-Students in their third or higher year of study in the following fields: operation of the fleet and ports, construction (hydraulic engineering, buildings and facilities, transport construction), information technology, radio communication equipment and technology, ecology and environmental management, finance and accounting, international relations, law, European studies, project management, and human resources management.
-Excellent computer literacy.
-Very good command of English.
-Very good communication and organizational skills.
-To show interest in the field of port activities and infrastructure, and water transport.
-To be proactive and ambitious people, open to new knowledge and adaptable to changes.
-To have a grade point average from the last semester of no less than 4.25.
-The internship is conducted after a selection of the submitted applications.

Type and length of the practical training
The internship in the enterprise is unpaid or paid, depending on the duration, workload, specifics of the internship activities, and individual capabilities and characteristics of the candidates.
The duration of the internship depends on the obligations, provided in the specific divisions of BPI Co. and the usual duration is from 1 to 3 months.
The internships start on July 14, 2014.
