The subject of the public procurement is: “Execution of construction and installation works as means to implement the measures proposed to enhance the energy efficiency of the building at 69 Shipchenski Prohod Blvd., Sofia (thermal insulation of the building’s roof, replacement of the existing staircase window frames with PVC double glazing, and repair of the staircase)” and includes the implementation of energy-saving measures in an administrative building located at 69 Shipchenski Prohod Blvd., Sofia, managed by the Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company, the Nuclear Regulatory Agency, the Council for Electronic Media, and the Communications Regulation Commission. The need to undertake energy-saving measures results from an energy efficiency survey of the building and the prescribed technical-economic assessments. Based on Article 8, paragraph 6 of the Public Procurement Act (PPA), the agencies managing the building have decided to jointly conduct the public procurement and award it through a public invitation under Chapter Eight “a” of the PPA on behalf of the State Enterprise “Port Structure” as the contracting authority. The public procurement includes the following activities: – thermal insulation of the building’s roof – valued at approximately 90,000 BGN excluding VAT; – replacement of the existing staircase window frames in the building with PVC double glazing and repair of the staircase – valued at approximately 20,000 BGN excluding VAT. The total estimated value of the procurement is approximately 110,000 BGN (one hundred and ten thousand BGN) excluding VAT. Types of repair and construction works The types of repair and construction works are specified in the Technical Specification and the Bill of Quantities (Sample No. 17) attached to this documentation. Contract execution period – the contract execution period is 60 (sixty) calendar days.
