Design and Implementation of an Integrated Information System (IIS) for Resource Planning and Management at the Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company

The subject of this procurement is “DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AN INTEGRATED INFORMATION SYSTEM (IIS) FOR RESOURCE PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT AT THE Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company. The scope of the procurement includes the design, development, delivery, and implementation of an information system at BPI Co., as part of implementing measures to increase company efficiency and reduce paper document usage. The implementation of IIS (ERP system) will support the execution of all investment projects, as well as the development of new ones planned for EU funding in the coming years, and will improve the processes of strategic and operational planning, management, and maintenance of port infrastructure. In the process of building a modern, efficient, and profitable corporate structure at BPI Co., the optimization and automation of corporate management processes play an important role. The implementation of a unified integrated information system for planning, managing, and controlling enterprise resources should lead to the following results: achieving transparency in management and introducing good business practices; implementing unified decision-making procedures; improving regulatory management; effective investment project management; increasing profitability through enhanced cost accounting control; centralizing data and analytics; unified data – single version of truth across different reporting views; consolidated business processes; consolidated user interfaces. These results must be achieved through the implementation of a powerful software solution for BPI Co. resource management in accordance with the current regulatory framework. Its introduction will help improve the quality and efficiency of port infrastructure management and create conditions for economic growth. The system will help achieve long-term goals for sustainable development and modernization of national transport infrastructure.
