The Director General of State Enterprise “Port Infrastructure” (BPIC) Ivaylo Ivanov participated in the 17th national conference on transport infrastructure “Future Roads: Innovate, Invest, Achieve Zero“, which is taking place in Plovdiv from September 24 to 27, 2024.
In the discussion panel “Strategic Infrastructure across the Balkans and Bulgaria”, he presented BPI Co.’s activities, emphasizing the enterprise’s key role in managing, maintaining, and modernizing the country’s strategic port infrastructure.
The four-day event includes discussions on current sector topics, presentations, and meetings to exchange experiences and best practices in mobility and infrastructure. Financial models focusing on road usage fees and opportunities for financing transport infrastructure will be examined. The event is planned to involve experts and business organizations who will present sustainable solutions on issues related to security and safety in the movement of goods and cargo.
During the forum, there will also be an exhibition featuring the world’s best innovative companies in road construction, suppliers of specialized software products, technical equipment, design and engineering firms. Innovative, green, and forward-looking solutions for the future of mobility and infrastructure will be presented.
