Status: Completed, Type: Construction. ‘Execution of additional construction and repair works for the project ‘Rehabilitation of the Joints of Overpass No. 1 and Overpass No. 2′.’ The scope of this public procurement encompasses the finishing works that arose during the execution of the main contract for the rehabilitation of the joints of Overpass No. 1 and Overpass No. 2 and are not covered by the main project. After the commencement of the construction and repair works, the uncovering of the defective joints, and the replacement of lead bearings with neoprene bearings on Overpass No. 1, it was established that the road’s grade line was changing. According to the designer’s specifications, as reflected in the project and the site logbook, it is necessary to increase the length of the section for asphalt removal at the defective joints to preserve the grade line of the roadway on Overpass No. 1. This also necessitates an increase in the quantities of applied waterproofing and asphalt concrete. The additional works for both overpasses, which are not covered by the main project and without which the site cannot be completed, include: 76 checkered plate covers for the inspection openings on the sidewalks; dismantling and installation of guardrails – 400 m; asphalt cutting and creation of the connection between the first and second asphalt layers.
