The subject of the contract is “Rehabilitation of Pier at Berth 8, Port of Burgas”, and it includes the planned construction and installation works to be performed by the contractor for the rehabilitation of the quay wall, which are: • Dismantling, cleaning, and sorting of existing sidewalk paving slabs; • Dismantling, cleaning, and sorting of granite blocks for steps with dimensions 105/35/15; • Breaking of reinforced concrete; • Dismantling of the angle bar along the quay edge; • Excavation of backfill material with an excavator and transportation to a landfill; • Transportation of excavated earth to a dump site; • Delivery of sulfate-resistant concrete C25/30, filling into jute bags, and arrangement on the sea side; • Formwork – for the quay wall; • Fabrication and installation of reinforcement steel grade b235(ai), b420(аiii) for the quay wall; • Laying of sulfate-resistant concrete C25/30 for quay walls; • Construction of backfill riprap – BCM; • Layer of crushed stone 40/120 – incl. compaction; • Layer of crushed stone 0/63 – incl. compaction; • Formwork for step foundations; • Laying of PVC foil; • Fabrication and installation of reinforcement steel grade b235(ai) for pavement; • Angle bar along the quay edge 100/100/10 – incl. drilling of holes, anchor installation and welding, priming with anti-corrosion primer, painting; • Laying of sulfate-resistant concrete C25/30 for pavement d=10cm and step foundations d=10cm; • Construction of pavement from sidewalk slabs 40/40; • Installation of granite blocks for steps. The Contractor shall perform the planned Construction and Installation Works (CIW) under the scope of the contract based on the Technical Specification and Bill of Quantities (BoQ) prepared, coordinated, and approved within this procedure.
