The project involves the execution of construction and installation works for the rehabilitation of the Eastern Quay at the Lom Port Terminal. Specifically, it includes the construction of a new quay wall, along with the associated infrastructure, including the elevation of the entire quay surface to align with the levels of the Southern and Western Quays. The scope of work also includes the construction of entirely new crane tracks, railway lines, and rail connections to Lom Station, as well as road access for vehicles, open unloading areas and uncovered storage spaces. In addition, the project provides for the installation of both high- and low-voltage electrical systems for the terminal, the development of fire-fighting infrastructure, and facilities for supplying vessels with water for bunkering. The new quay wall is planned to be constructed directly in front of the existing compromised structure of the Eastern Quay.
